Well Jeopardy is clearly the best starter because it DOES warm you up. You start with the lower dollar amounts, the easier categories, easier questions. This is where you take big risks because you still have time to make it up. They give you a quick break after the commercial for introductions, and then get you right back in to it. You get a couple quick breaks for the Daily Double, where you work out a specific trivia group.
Then you’re in Double Jeopardy. You’ve gone through the motions, you’re in a groove now. You’ve got your heart pumping and your brain squeezing, they up the ante with the dollar amounts, the questions get harder. Fast paced and frantic, they put your cortex to the test. Then they give you a category for Final Jeopardy, and let your synapses mull over it over the next commercial break. You bust out all your neurotransmitters during that thirty second theme, and then are rewarded with the euphoria of a correct answer and a victor.
Then you hear the clapping when Wheel of Fortune comes on and you tell Pat Sajak to go fuck himself and change the channel
